Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ogbere Oloba

Fr. Martin Olowoyeye, parish priest of Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ogbere-Oloba, Ibadan and the Archbishop of Ibadan, Nigera at the celebration of the completed renovation of the Altar.

Father Martin is a fairly new priest at Lady Queen of Peace. Having been there a little over a year, without a proper Altar, he reached out to Propagation of the Faith, Charleston, South Carolina to ask for help. They were able to send the parish a contribution that allowed them to build a respectable Altar for Father Martin to preach the Word on.

Father Martin wrote, "I'm very happy to inform you that we have successfully completed the installation of the marble Altar, Lectern, and Tabernacle in our Church today. The entire parish is delighted and has been praying for you for making this project possible."

 "Thank you very much for making our church a more befitting place to worship God," said Fr. Martin in a message to us. He also conveyed that our help made him  a fulfilled priest. He went on to say that, "making God's house befitting gives me joy and fulfillment and your unquantifiable support has made this possible."

This would not have been possible without the generous support of the people of the Charleston Diocese and the efforts of Propagation of the Faith.
